Therapy that's more than just "talk"

Very early in my mental health career, I realized words are often not enough.  It can be really hard to put our experiences into words. When we are stressed and overwhelmed, we may not even have the words to express what we feel.  Other times we find ourselves talking in circles without finding a solution.  I have known a lot of people who think counseling isn't for them for this very reason.  You do not need to know what to say or where to start.

---You are the expert in your story,

I'm an expert in helping you re-write it---

Everyone is different and comes from their own unique experiences. My approach is collaborative: to help you identify your goals and create a plan to help you meet them. I know that each person comes to therapy with a story, and I work to create a non-judgmental space where your story is respected and honored. While therapy is about acknowledging the past, it must also be about moving forward. I have a unique set of tools to help you become unstuck, and find your way forward.
